Making excuses or Being More?

I love blog ideas from friends. Recently a friend sent me this, "Anyone can find an excuse not to do something but only the strong look for an excuse to do something." How many times have you made an excuse NOT to do something? Too many to count?  The time and effort we often spend planning a way out of doing or procrastinating is such a waste. It is better to just bite the bullet, do whatever it is, get it over with and move on to something else. Have you ever listened to someone tell a story and it goes on and on and on to the point you are thinking seriously are you ever going to get to the point? To me that is like making excuse after excuse to avoid a task or making a decision. Now on the flip side, the strong look for an excuse to do something. I put some thought into this analogy and it does make sense. Strong, determined and self-driven individuals do look for reasons to do something. These type of people do not idle along in life. They are the ones that are reaching for the stars and actually touching them. They know success because they make it happen. Excuse is not a word in their vocabulary. These folks are leaders, winners, champions, etc. that strive to "Be More" every day. What are you doing? Making excuses or being more?
